Tim and I have always prayed that the Lord would send adults into our kids lives that would serve as teachers and mentors for them. We know that we can't always be the only influence in the lives of our children so we have prayed that the Lord would send Godly mentors that would be positive influences in their lives.

This year we were so blessed to see the Lord honoring our prayer by bringing two of the best teachers in the whole world into our lives. Mrs. Keleigh was Coopies teacher and we couldn't have asked for a sweeter more patient person than her for our sweet boy. She loved on Coopie and Caitlyn every time she saw them and she is so full of Jesus that it just radiates out of her! I think that Coopie wants to marry her when he grows up. One of Coopies greatest joys is to think of things that he can take to Mrs. Keleigh. He has such a sweet servant heart! Mrs. Keleigh was his first teacher and we will always be so grateful for the kind and loving way that she introduced our boy into the world of learning and school. She taught him so much more than his letters. She taught him to be kind, to be patient, to think of others and helped him move another step on his journey toward independence.

Mrs. Keleigh, it was our joy to share our boy with you this year! Thank you for investing yourself into his little life!

Cade's teacher this year was Mrs. Kim. We are pretty sure that she is a Saint! For most of the year she had eight little boys in her class! No girls, until mid year, just eight crazy, full of energy and ants in their pants boys. Since she is a Mom to all boys she was uniquely qualified for this challenge. She was awesome! Everytime I walked into their class I was amazed at what they were learning. Cade has learned so much this year and has loved it! It has truly been a blessing to watch her unfold a world of learning to our sweet five year old. I know that he is ready for kindergarten (unbelievable) because she invested so much of herself into his learning this year.I loved to watch the loving way that she interacted with each of her students and the passion she had for teaching them. She is such a wonderful Godly woman and our family has been so blessed to know her. Did I mention that we are praying she is Coopie's teacher next year?

Mrs. Kim, I love the way that you show Jesus to everyone that you come in contact with! You are an amazing woman of God! Thank you for loving on Cade this year and investing in his life. Your fingerprints on his heart will not be forgotten.

P.S. Mrs. Keleigh if you get bored this summer just give us a call and we'll let Coopie tell you one of his stories. They are never boring!

Love,

Shawna
